People make a space feel used, but posed people make it feel like an advert. Describe an action, not a person: walking past, reaching for a cup, reading. Say how many and roughly where. A little motion blur keeps it natural and keeps faces anonymous.

Tip: one person usually reads better than a crowd. Leave People blank when the space should be the subject.
